Collaborations
The Freeman Institute, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to
providing high-quality education and training for health care professionals,
counseling professionals and the general public on topics related to behavioral
health, substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders and other
subjects of interest to healthcare and mental health professionals working
with those who are suffering from physical and/or mental illness.
The Freeman Institute is committed to collaborating with, but not limited
to, The National Institutes of Health, National Institutes of Mental Health, The
Department of Health and Human Services, The Addiction Technology
Transfer Centers, The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment, The
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, The National
Institutes of Drug Abuse, and all state, national and international universities
that wish to further the work of the Institute’s mission regarding
dissemination of health and science information.
The Freeman Institute will be collaborating with organizations throughout
the United States and the World. Our previous collaborations have included
ALETIA in Enna, Sicily, Centro de Terapia de Conducta in Valencia, Spain
and Center För Cognitiv Psykoterapi och Utbildning i Göteborg, in Goteborg,
Sweden. Many of our trainings are full-day seminars offering 6-8 hours of
continuing education credit for a wide variety of disciplines. We also offer
multi-day conferences featuring more thorough training in their respective
areas.
